Save Someone’s Future By Donating a Car
Erin Dufour loved Anne of Green Gables, and scary movies. She loved spending time with her friends and family, as well as taking good care of her two cats. She loved sports, and NASCAR, and competing. Erin even had such a bright future. At the time she was killed, she was deciding what to do with her life. Her dream was to go to nursing school.
Erin thought March 18th was just another regular day. She was driving home after shopping, when another vehicle, speeding 10 mph over the speed limit on the wrong side of the road, struck her car head on. The offender had been drinking heavily prior to the crash.
And just like that, her life was over. Because of ONE person’s reckless decision to drink and drive… all of that came to a screeching halt. It left behind her now empty, non-existent dreams. It left behind her ability to ever attend a family birthday party, or holiday dinner, but probably worst of all, it left behind a completely devastated family.
This isn’t the only tragedy that Massachusetts has seen. Every single day we spend trying to help and comfort grieving families in hopes to ease them of their sorrows. We try our best to ensure a safer future for everyone.
You can help us. If you have a car you aren’t using, please consider donating it to Mothers Against Drunk Driving so we can be closer to sparing another family of their pain.
NO ONE should ever have to lose a loved one to such a reckless and preventable act!
